What is Creative Writing?
Creative writing is the art of expressing ideas, stories, or emotions in an imaginative way. Course Levels
Level 1
At this level, children will begin exploring the basics of creative writing by expressing their ideas through simple words and sentences. They will learn how to describe objects, people, or places and create short stories with a clear beginning, middle, and end. The focus will be on imagination and creativity, allowing students to develop their storytelling skills. Activities will include drawing pictures and writing simple sentences or short paragraphs to describe them, building a foundation for future writing.
Level 2
In Level 2, students will deepen their creative writing skills by exploring more detailed storytelling. They will focus on developing characters, settings, and events, and practice writing stories with more complex plots. The emphasis will be on adding descriptive language, using dialogue, and organizing stories clearly. Students will experiment with different writing genres, such as adventure or fantasy, and work on revising their stories to improve clarity and creativity. The goal is to help children write with confidence and creativity, while learning to refine their stories.
